A season of renewal
After being blanketed by a layer of ash from the eruption in April, the affected farms of South Iceland are once again in full swing thanks to the hard work and dedication of the farmers, neighbours, and volunteers.
This same spirit of renewal can be witnessed all over as Iceland sheds its winter layers in favour of colourful blooms of lupines, wide swaths of green grass, and skies as blue as radiant geothermal pools. Although the Eyjafjallajökull volcano has gone quiet, the rest of Iceland is bursting with energy this summer, making it the perfect time to renew your spirit of adventure in this amazing land!
