Volcanic activity subsides

Skogafoss waterfall in South IcelandThe volcanic activity at Eyjafjallajökull has subsided as of May 23rd, and all flights are once again proceeding normally with no unusual delays or disruptions. Although the eruption has not been formally declared as finished, the Icelandic Civil Authority will continue to closely monitor seismic activity in this area to make sure travellers and residents are safe and well-informed.
