This excursion offers some of the best-known natural phenomena of Iceland. First, we visit Þingvellir National Park, where the ancient parliament was formed. We continue onto the impressive waterfall, Gullfoss, and the geothermal area, Geysir. We will next visit a beautiful church, Skálholt, the ancient seat of Icelandic Bishops, revealing a part of Iceland's religious past. We will make a short stop at the greenhouse community, Hveragerði. A short drive through the highly mountainous region will bring us back to the capital.
