Introduction
Do not leave Iceland without experiencing a real glacier! This amazing trip will not only show you the rugged, ever moving and ever changing beauty of Sólheimajökull but a drive through Iceland´s amazing black sand beaches is included as well.
Itinerary
We start by showing you how to best drive the highly specialized super jeep on and off the road. Just imagine driving such a machine! Our first stop cruising along Iceland’s south coast is at the 65 meter high Seljalandsfoss waterfall. We will take a short walk behind the thundering wall of water! Next we will stop at the famous Skógafoss waterfall and scale its flanks before driving down to and onto the beautiful black lava sand beaches, racing along the waters edge where the relentless North Atlantic waves crash on to Iceland’s coast. This trip is available in 3 different version with a choice of 3 different activities, giving you a unique possibility to custom-make your adventure.
This tour is also offered without activitiy for the price of 35.990 ISK per person.
Your guide can drive the jeep at any point during your trip if you wish.

Departure times: Departures at 8:30-9:00.
Departure points: Departures from hotels and guesthouses in the greater Reykjavik area.
Pick up: Pick up at hotels and guesthouses between 8:30 and 9:00.
Return Details: Transportation back to hotels, guesthouses and Reykjavik city center at approx. 19:00.
Minimum participations: 2 persons.
Note: Drivers have to be over 25 years old and hold a valid drivers licence.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, hiking boots and gloves.

On this tour you can choose between three activities:
* Glacier hike
Enjoy a glacier hike on the rugged Sólheimajökull glacier! Accompanied by an experienced glacier guide you will explore the crevasse riddled outlet glacier with its amazing ice formations, sink holes and jagged ridges. Age limit: 14 years or shoe size 35 EUR (for crampons). Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good hiking shoes recommended.

* Caving
Explore the hidden world under a lava field! On our way through Gjábakkahellir lava tube you will see the marvels that volcanic activity has created in the past. Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, gloves, waterproof jacket and pants. Good hiking shoes are recommended. Age limit: 10 years.
- Price: 41990 ISK
* ATV/Quadbike tour
On this one hour full throttle ATV tour we race along the mountains and up to a mountain valley close by. Racing through the lava fields is a truly exciting adventure. Age limit: 10 years as a passenger on the ATV. Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants (you can rent some gear on location).
