Introduction
Thorsmork (Þórsmörk) is a magnificent valley named after Þór (Thor), the god of Thunder. The amazing nature of green valleys, mountains, clear water creeks, and majestic glacial rivers that makes Thorsmork one of Iceland´s most beautiful place for hiking.
Itinerary
Thorsmork is an oasis because of its unique location between three glaciers. The glaciers and mountains on all sides provides shelter from harsh weather conditions, beacuse of that thorsmork has its own weather system. The diverse flora and magnificent landscape is a must for nature lovers. The tour takes us to the graceful Seljalandsfoss. where the sure-footed can walk behind this majestic waterfall. And then our tour continues to the dramatic Gígjökull. From Gígjökull the melted ice from the eruption at Eyjafjallajökull came bursting down and created a destructive flood on its way to sea The drive to Thorsmork is highly enjoyable in our Super Jeeps because in order to reach Thorsmork we have to cross glacial rivers and rough tracks.

Departure times: Daily departures at 09:00.
Departure points: Daily departures from Reykjavík city hall, hotels and guesthouses in the greater Reykjavik area.
Pick up: Free pick up from hotels and guesthouses starts at 8:30.
Return Details: Transportation back to hotels, guesthouses and Reykjavik city center at approx. 18:00. Pricing Policy
50% discount for children aged 0-12 (accompanied by an adult).
Booking
Can be booked until 2 days before departure.
Minimum participants: 2 Persons.
Note: In Iceland climatic conditions can change and your safety is our priority. Our tours therefore are designed to be flexible to necessary changes. The highland roads sometimes close due to bad road conditions usually in the spring. If the roads close we are not able to operate the tour.
