This guided 4X4 super-jeep tour takes you to the stunning Landmannalaugar geothermal area in the Icelandic interior and the imposing Mt. Hekla - one of Iceland's most prominent and active volcanoes.

The tour starts by taking you to Þjórsárdalur valley, a prosperous farming region around settlement but completely laid to waste by the devastating 1104 eruption from Mt. Hekla. The Hjálparfoss waterfall will be visited before stopping for lunch at the Hrauneyjar highland centre. After lunch, you will be taken to the unworldly Landmannalaugar area, where you can bathe in completely natural hot pools in beautiful surroundings before driving back to Reykjavik via the Dómadalur valley and Mt. Hekla, believed to be the entrance to hell in the old days.
