Introduction

An ideal choice for beginners and those who do not want to spend more than one hour on horseback.

Itinerary

An adventurous ride from the Íshestar Riding Centre into the lava fields surrounding Mt. Helgafell volcano and the Kaldársel area, or to Lake Hvaleyrarvatn. View rough lava fields and reforestation efforts, with beautiful Bláfjöll Mountains on the horizon.

Departure points: Departures from Reykjavík city hall, hotels and guesthouses in the greater Reykjavik area.
Pick up: Pick up starts at 11:30/15:30.
Return Details: Transfer back to hotel, guesthouse or city center at 14:30 and 17:45.

50% discount for children aged 4-12. Free for children under 4.
