Introduction
The Icelandic Sagas are renowned throughout the world. This Saga Tour takes you to the settings of the most famous events in Icelandic history.
Itinerary
On this tour you will follow in the footsteps of the Viking warrior and poet Egill Skallagrimsson and others in Borgarfjordur.
We visit the Icelandic Settlement centre exhibition in Borgarnes. From there we head to Reykholt, the home of Snorri Sturluson the most significant Nordic poet and historian of the Middle Ages, and Snorrastofa.
Our next stop is Hraunfossar waterfalls and the largest hot spring in the Northern Hemisphere, Deildartunguhver.

Return Details: Transportation back to hotels, guesthouses and Reykjavik city center at approx. 18:00.
Pricing Policy: Free for children under 11. 50% discount for children aged 12-15.
Booking: Can be booked until 2 days before departure.
The tour operates in English: All year daily at 09:00.
Note: Drop off after day tours may sometimes not be right in front of your hotel/guesthouse due to narrow streets and actual coach size used during the tour.
