It is ideal for those that want to see as much as possible in just one long day. It gets you in close contact with one of Iceland's glaciers, shows you some of the history of the island and some of the most popular sights of Iceland in the glow of the evening sun.
We start our journey by driving along the shores of Hvalfjord. On the northern shores we visit the Whaling Station and head to the Settlement Center in Borgarnes from there. Our lunch break will be at Fossatun and from there we head to Reykholt. Our next stop is at the geothermal area of Deildartunguhver, from there we head to the waterfalls of Barnafossar and then over the pass of Kaldidalur to the Langjökull glacier. We stop at Jaki for a walk towards the glacier. In Þingvellir National Park we meet another group for the evening tour of the Golden Circle, the National Park Þingvellir, Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area.
