Introduction

Join us for a mysterious trip, on a bright starry night, any time from the onset of autumn darkness until the light nights of spring, we may be lucky enough to witness one of nature's most spectacular displays; the phenomenon which we call the Northern Lights.

Itinerary

Far from the industrial glow of the city, we hunt for the elusive Northern Lights - also known as Aurora Borealis. Together, we will search for these magnificent auroras. On a clear night, we can see the Northern Lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the heavens in dramatic shapes, colors, patterns and sizes. They truly are amazing sights to behold.

The Northern Lights are visible only from September through April and can only be seen on a clear, crisp night. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel this tour if the evening sky is heavily clouded or weather conditions are not favorable.

Before we start the tours, we unconditionally check weather and conditions on a large scale around the south-western point of Iceland. From experience, we decide where each trip shall lead us and where the best possibilities will be to see the Northern Lights.

Departure/Return: Transportation back to hotels, guesthouses and Reykjavik city center between 23:00-24:00.
