This combination of our tours DTAH-10 and DTAH-29 is tailor made for those that don't have too much time but want to make the most of their stay in Iceland. We visit the most significant places in the capital and the surrounding towns before heading to the Blue Lagoon.
The tour includes the presidential residence at Bessastaðir as well as Hafnarfjörður, the town where the ´hidden people` and humans live together in harmony, the fishing harbour and when possible, the fish market.
In Reykjavik we go to restaurant Perlan, that is built on the city’s hot water tanks, Höfði house which is famous for the summit meeting between Reagan and Gorbachev in 1986, Hallgrímskirkja church, the old city centre and much more. The tour takes a break in the city centre where passengers will be dropped off to take a stroll or have lunch (not included in price).
After the break, passengers are picked up and taken to the Blue Lagoon, best described as a geothermal beach and simply heaven. It is comprised of a sandy bottom, lovely milky blue water, and silica mud. In addition to bathing in the lagoon, guests enjoy relaxing in a lava cave and a unique geothermal steam bath. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients: salts, silica and blue green algae help our guests to relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life.
