In East Iceland, you will find most of what makes Iceland a unique place, fascinating nature stretches from the glaciers to the sea, geothermal pools and clear mountain streams and countless numbers of beautiful waterfalls.

Taking the morning flight to Egilsstaðir, a guide and bus will be waiting to take you to Reyðafjörður were you will visit the war museum. From there the bus will take you to Eskifjörður, a very beautiful fisherman´s village where you will experience the life of the fishermen in the old days.
You will visit an old dock house, built in 1890, meet the shark catcher and get to taste the delicious shark, visit the Maritime Museum, rent a boat for fishing or visit the remains of one of the world´s best-known sources of Icelandic mast.
You will also visit Neskaupstaður where a local stone and mineral collector will show us the collection and give us a tour. We then return to Egilsstaðir to catch the evening flight to Reykjavik.
