Introduction
Snorkeling is an easy, fun and popular way to experience the underwater world of the Silfra ravine in Thingvellir national park.You will experience the incredible blue colors, the clarity and depth of the beautiful Silfra, feeling as you were flying weightless in the fresh cold water.
Itinerary
No certification is required. This snorkeling trip is for everyone, regardless of physical fitness, skill and age.
Easy entrance into the revine, a platform with steps into the water. Surreal and extreme experience in a near perfect visibility in fresh water, up to 150 meters of visibility. The right equipment, a dry suit to keep you warm and gloves and hood for maximum comfort. Lazy current that will leave you floating and feeling weightless in the ice cold fresh water between 1° – 4° Celsius. You will snorkel through three sites in one trip, the Silfra Lagoon, the Cathedral and the Silfra Hall.
Chance to experience snorkeling in a dive site that is rated as one of the top 3 coldwater dive sites in the world by Diver Magazine.

Pick up: Free pick up from hotels and guesthouses starts at 8:00

Bring warm clothes to wear under the dry suit and extra clothes in case you get wet.
This tour is not suited for children under the age of 14.
